These homemade Oreo cookies are tasty and pretty simple to make. If you don't want to make them into a sandwich with frosting, the cookies are good just by themselves.
Ingredients:
2 pkgs. devils food cake mix
1 1/2 C. Shortening
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 Eggs
Mix together and roll into small balls. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Don't over cook. Cool and frost cookies to make Oreo sandwich cookie.
Frosting:
2 C. Powdered Sugar
8 oz. Cream Cheese
1/2 C. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
This is such a tasty treat!
